February 2nd - March 22, 7:15 to 9:00pm - Southeast
Shine forth into 2012, and Deepen Your Practice of Yoga and Life! Join Alison for this 8 week series designed to deepen your understanding of your body's capacity and your hearts desire while taking your practice to a new level. In these 8 one hour and forty five minute classes, we'll be focusing on the secondary refinements of Anusara's Universal Principles, known as the "loops," which will polish your asanas from the floor up! Students should have a working knowledge of the Anusara practice - if you've been taking Alison's or Kate's or Rachel's classes regularly you likely have this, though you may not know you do, and all of Alison's January classes will focus on clarifying them to give you plenty of time to be sure. Feel free to contact Alison at alisonalstrom@gmail.com with questions.
Details Series price is $88, or $72 for People's Yoga members. Signing up for the whole series is required, although pro-rating is an option if you know in advance that you will have to miss a week or two (within reason). Un-planned missed classes can be made up at future series, again, within reason. Students who have completed a previous level two series or its equivalent with Alison or another Anusara® or Anusara-inspired™ teacher may drop into Thursday classes at a rate of $12 ($11 for members)

Within that space we will explore small and subtle adjustments to allow for more freedom in posture and mind-set. The afternoon practice will focus on Yin and Therapeutic yoga practices combined with meditation and contemplation to deepen our understanding of yoga. We will investigate methods to integrate the practices into our lives.
