This training is for students who desire a community where they can deepen their understanding of yoga and meditation as tools for an embodied liberation that moves beyond the studio and into their lives. We will work in the realms of the body, the heart, the mind, and the emotions meeting all of what it means to be human. This 300-hour foundational training serves as a jumping off point into the practices, techniques, and philosophies of yoga asana, breath, and meditation practices. It is carefully designed to meet the needs of those seeking deep personal development, as well as those who have a desire to teach. If you really want to teach, you will learn how to do so. If you really want to grow and learn how to be a dedicated student of yoga, you will learn how to do so.
Audra is known for her deep love of yoga asana, and her voracious learning. She has her Masters in Clinical Psychology and is a Certified Meditation Teacher with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Her teachers Todd Jackson, Christina Sell, and Jasmine Tarkeshi have helped make her a certified, and extremely grateful, yoga mutt. This will be her 9th teacher training. Expect to receive a lot of information that will generate more questions than answers.
There is no one right way. Yoga contains multitudes. You contain multitudes. We will get comfortable with not knowing and trying anyway.
Our hope is that you will leave with an emboldened curiosity that lends itself to a lifelong practice and study of yoga.

Sarah teaches yoga as a way of prioritizing being accountable and disciplined. When one is accountable to a community, they must be disciplined in their own healing. Guided by yoga’s nature as a self-reliant healing modality, she offers her extensive study and experience as a way to inspire her students in their own self-directed, self-reliant healing paths. Within this framework, she brings her passion for the yoga sutras and a disciplined, Ashtanga-informed asana practice to her Teacher Trainees as an inspiration for the development of their own personal practice and path.
