All Level Hatha
In the context of modern asana practice, the general term Hatha has come to be used to describe a more classic approach, a one-pose-at-a-time style class, with focus on alignment, anatomy, body mechanics, and mindfulness. Students will work on both postures and breathwork to achieve strength, balance and flexibility in their practice. Hatha classes differ from Vinyasa classes because students will spend more time concerned with each individual posture.
Gentle Hatha
Combines gentle movements with breath. These classes are perfect for beginners as well as people with specific limitations and those recovering from injury. More experienced students who crave a more restorative practice or need to deeply relax and de-stress will also enjoy Gentle Hatha.
**Suitable for those with injury or limited mobility.
Hatha Flow
Hatha Flow classes connect asana (postures) and breath through gentle warming movements, strength and awareness building flows, and restorative openings. Attention to alignment, personal inquiry into sensation, breath work, and fun are emphasized. Classes are neither competitive nor dogmatic. Students are encouraged to practice at their own pace in order to develop a clearer connection to their inner wisdom. Hatha Flow differs from our Vinyasa classes with less emphasis on sun salutations and transistions, yet pace and intensity depends on style of teacher. Classes are appropriate for beginners as well as intermediate students.

Beginning chanting and simple group warm-up followed by open practice. Ending with 10 minute optional meditation and savasana. This class is for students who have practiced yoga before and are comfortable with basic salutes and standing postures. It is a great class for students looking to create a bridge between a home practice and a class setting. 7-7.15am optional time for any asana/yoga related questions from students.
Strengthening Flow
This class is a combination of yoga asanas (postures) with an emphasis on building strength and cardio conditioning. Students should expect longer held postures, working dynamically with the breath in asanas to stabilize the joints in the body and to strengthen hyper-extended joints and hyper-flexible muscles. Faster paced and more fluid vinyasas as well as inversions and core strengthening asanas will be included to build stamina and whole body strength. Students will work to strengthen their bodies in a comprehensive, safe and yogic setting.
Vinyasa Flow
*Not appropriate for students with very limited yoga experience.* The word Vinyasa means flow. The asana practice itself is dynamic, focusing on the movement of the breath and the body and the synchronization of the two. Flow is attained by setting a personal intention for the practice, linking the breath to the movement of the body and staying mindfully connected to the body not only in the postures, but also in the transitions. Our Vinyasa Flow is a fun class with sequences from various schools of yoga. Cultivate inner awareness while building strength and flexibility. The level of intensity depends on the style of the teacher.
Vinyasa Flow 2
A faster paced, vigorous Vinyasa class that challenges the experienced yogi. Explore more advanced postures while focusing on alignment for greater precision in your practice.
Yin Yoga
Classes involve a relaxed practice of floor postures that are held from three to five minutes at a time. There are far fewer postures or asana in the Yin style of yoga as are found in more active styles. Although Yin yoga is a more passive practice it can be quite challenging due to the length of time postures are held. This Yin yoga class is open to all levels of students and is a perfect compliment to a Yang or more active style of yoga such as Vinyasa Flow.
**Suitable for those with injury or limited mobility.

- Fragrances - Please do not wear perfumes or scented body care products - these scents may disturb your neighbors in class.
- When to Arrive - Doors open 15 minutes prior to class start time.
